Keiko joined Bridge Global Strategies as Vice President at the agency's founding in October, 2004.
She got her start in communications while attending Rikkyo University in Tokyo, where, while still an undergraduate, she was a reporter for publications geared for contemporary young Japanese. After graduation, Keiko joined the public relations arm of one of the biggest fashion companies in Japan.
Keiko has over 15 years of experience in strategic design, concept development and communications, both in New York and Tokyo. Her career has included a stint at a marketing consulting firm in Japan where she managed marketing communications and worked on a team that created Japan Railway's "Ladies' Kiosks" retail outlets for women commuters and was involved in the conception and development of buildings with shopping malls, theaters and hotels. Keiko also worked as a retail consultant in Japan and traveled overseas as a fashion accessories, tabletop gifts and housewares buyer.
Keiko came to Bridge from Publicis Dialog's New York headquarters, where she was an account supervisor for seven years. Her client experience includes The City of Yokohama, The Elie Wiesel Foundation for the Humanities, The Japan External Trade Organization, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Pharma Forum, Nikko Hotels International and SNBL Clinical Pharmacology Center, Inc.
Keiko lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The consummate traveler, she has visited destinations ranging from Bali to Barcelona to Beijing and beyond. |
