Lucy is a communications executive with more than 30 years of experience in journalism, PR, marketing and corporate communications. She is a serial entrepreneur—she sold her first PR company 16 years ago and then worked as a PR executive at a large multinational agency. She founded Bridge Global Strategies in New York City almost nine years ago. Her background includes newspaper and magazine journalism, corporate and marketing communications for Equitable Life, now a subsidiary of AXA, and public relations agency executive experience.
Earlier in her career, Lucy worked in Japan for a Japanese PR firm, an experience that had a profound impact on her thinking, leading to one of her firm’s areas of specialization: helping foreign companies build visibility in the U.S. market. Bridge has had clients headquartered all over Asia and Europe. In addition, the firm focuses on the needs of startup companies, from the U.S. and Canada as well as overseas. Bridge works with client executives on competitive positioning, messaging and communications strategies, and develops and executes public relations and marketing communications plans.
Lucy was the co-founder and is an officer of PR Boutiques International, an international network of more than 30 independent PR firms. She has also held leadership positions in the Public Relations Society of America’s New York Chapter and Women Executives in Communications.
